NORTH BRUNSWICK--This year’s North Brunswick Township Heritage Day is a special one as the event celebrates its 35th year! It will be held on

Saturday, October 7th 2017 at Community Park off Route 130 South at 1 p.m. RAIN DATE is on Sunday, October 8th

Enjoy the music of local bands, dancing, food, rides, crafters, petting zoo and more. This year’s additions include a BEER GARDEN with lawn games co-hosted by the Heritage Day Committee and the North Brunswick PBA, as well as a beard and mustache contest.

 

The eclectic band lineup includes Oktoberfest music by the Metropolitan Festival Band, the Latin beat of Tempo Alegre, Jazz and Blues by GMJ Groove and the Reggae sounds of Ras Roots.  Put on your dancing shoes, there will be a dance floor in front of the stage!

 

The Ann Marie Chandlee Heritage Day Award ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. followed by 90s Tribute Band, Nine Deeez Nite, and Fireworks to cap off the evening.
